In line with this policy, we will only purchase goods and services from suppliers and service providers who adhere to the highest standards of ethical and environmental practices to include the provision of safe and humane working conditions at workplaces. We acknowledge the importance of employing staff in compliance with International Labour Organisation Conventions and national labour laws and practices. Accordingly, though not a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative, we have adopted the ETI Base Code of Labour practice.

It is our policy that:-

• Employment is freely chosen
• Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining are respected.
• Working conditions are safe and hygienic
• Child labour shall not be used
• Living wages are paid
• Working hours are not excessive
• No discrimination is practiced
• Regular employment is provided
• No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed

In addition, the company is strongly opposed to any forms of slavery and to human trafficking and therefore complies with the provisions of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and all other relevant legislation.

CMP undertakes to ensure that all its suppliers comply with all national and international laws, standards, and conventions on modern slavery and human trafficking and will encourage all its suppliers and service providers to follow a code of Conduct based on the Ethical Trading Initiate Code

The Directors and management will also ensure that this policy is communicated, understood and implemented by all our suppliers and service providers.
